I am neither Dutch or Spanish so if I want to tilt at RAINBOWS then I'll tilt at bloody RAINBOWS!!!!!
Given our signings I would set up like this considering current injuries 22 Mignolet 38 Flanagan 20 Cissokho 08 Gerrard 37 Skrtel 04 Kolo Touré 10 Coutinho 14 Henderson 07 Suárez 31 Sterling 15 Sturridge Our lads have done well to be in our position, from here we kick on Other clubs will have to think of Europe soon as well, hope Yanka doesnt knock Spurs out the Europa! Missing two targets will be investigated by the club, I cant understand how club accept our offer, player agrees then club say no I wont have its how we were going to pay as surely this wouldve been agreed when they accepted! Anyway, give the ball to SAS
Agreeing a fee is one thing, signing the dotted line is another. Their owner put a stop to it late on and Ayre was stranded in Ukraine. Its really not that difficult to understand.
But why would he after accepting our offer and alllowing us to talk to Yanka? ( I cant believe he wouldnt ask how we're paying and this be the reason he didnt sign on the dotted line after Yanka agreed to join)
Also Allen, I really think hes going to prove himself when he comes back. I think he knows he has too imo He'll prob be on bench Sun
It could be that we didn't feel desperate for a signing. Brendan might be confident that he can shuffle his players around and not lose our threat and structure. 1) Forward replacements: Moses, Aspas 2) ACM replacement: Alberto, Allen? 2) Gerrard/DM replacements: one of the defenders possibly? 3) Hendo/CM replacements: Allen, Gerrard 5) At the back: We will somehow stitch up four as we have all season. Lets hope the holding role loves Gerrard and that our attacking players stay fit.
What I found 'difficult to understand' was him saying yes and then no after player agreed Wondered why he'd changed his mind If buyout was met then I'd say thats illegal he refused to sign but I dont know
BR did say he was happy to go with what we have or something along those lines Lets do it! We have good players coming back
Maybe he didn't change his mind. If we made a offer that met the reported release clause, they'd have had little option but to accept. Maybe a club rep realised this (with a bit of help from the plank's agent) an granted said permission. Maybe this was the encouragement for Ayre to get on a plane to Ukraine? The billionaire owner then decided to put a stop to it as soon as he heard but it was already too late for us. If true, it is very much illegal. The player would be able to take the club to the sports court but it would be a lengthy process and leave him in isolation throughout the proceedings.
Maybe, im not actually that fussed If BR wanted him I want him here but it is what it is We havent done badly so far have we!
