It is a bit depressing to hear all of the negativity. I've only been able to see ONE live game and have been following the team since 1992. I am in Texas and am resigned to watching the crappy streams in order to see them play. You have no idea how lucky you are to actually get to the stadium and see the games. I don't know if I will ever make it St James' Park, but I am there in spirit week in and week out. If you told me that we would finish 17th, and lose the majority of our games, but I got to go to the games, I would be there screaming my heart out. Consider yourselves fortunate and remember your fellow fans who don't have the option of making the games.

 

Exactly. Roar for everyone that can't get there as well. Like me when i'm in Qatar. I get complaints from bar staff, customers and my neighbours.

 

I too am old enough to remember Westwood, McKeag and co. Having said that, we make it easy for the press and other lesser clubs to mock with some over-the-top claims from some fans and some lousy decisions from those in charge.

I liked going to SJP as a kid.

I was blissfully unaware of anything to do with the Board etc.

I just turned up every game, paid my money and cheered the lads on.

we aint living in the eighties //( 20 odd thousand crowd if we wer lucky. we get 50 odd thousand huge stadia worldwide fanbase . should be invested to push on ...we aint wba ,Cardiff etc ..
