OK... think Ozil is a good signing but I am amused to see Comolli has described the transfer as "cheap".

I seem to recall Comolli thought the prices we paid for Downing and Carroll were reasonable too.

Well it's probably cheap in comollis world.
If your willing to pay £20 million for downing doubling that for Ozil is very reasonable.
It's easy spending other people's money and he had a good time doing it even if it ****ed us up.

  3. Looking the Bale, Cavani, Falcoa deals, it is cheap! You won't hear me call someone this very often, but Ozil is a world class player!

Bale back then was a risk and a lot of money for the time for the youth.

Turned out to be a deal well done.

If I throw darts at a dartboard I will eventually get a bulls eye no matter how rubbish I am... even Borini has scored a goal.

  9. He signed Hutton, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto, Modric and Gomes. Four out of six (the other two are Hutton Gomes) and isn't bad <whistle>

Why do people keeping giving him interviews, the man was useless at his job. A DoF is supposed to get the best players and prices for his club using their contacts. Comolli however seemed to think that his job was to pay whatever the selling club wanted just because he'd been told to looking into buy said player.

    Today he's done another; http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23967515

Frankly if Comolli is the example to follow on DoF, I think Man U have it covered. Missing out on top targets and then over paying for an average player

  16. People need to remember that Comolli also signed Suarez, Henderson, Enrique and Sterling (I think) for us too
