I just missed the deadline for applying for away tickets for this game. Tried to persuade the ticket office to take my form today but they wouldn't. I asked if there would be any general tickets going on sale but they said they didn't think so as a lot of people had applied.

Really want 2 tickets so if anyone finds they have tickets but can't go can you let me know please. Hopefully I will be able to buy some but its not looking good.

We seem to be taking up half allocations this season and selling out too soon, I wish we'd take a bit more of a punt and get a few more of us in there.

Particularly for a game like Newcastle, which isn't that far and has half decent ticket prices.

If we sell all of our (half) allocation, is there any possibility of the club going back for more? I'm sure this has been mentioned before but I can't remember the answer

It's always a possibility but we'll make a loss on every ticket we fail to sell. If we stick with the original allocation we can't lose anything.

We are getting lazy on away tickets. It was obvious that our half allocation with prices @ £27 would sell out. If we get no more tickets then go in the home end and stay quiet.

The ticket office manager needs to wake up and get a grip ffs.

Barnsley away when they wouldnt give us anymore tickets even though the ground was still half empty. Tickles' advice was to go in the away end and dress in a suit to avoid suspicion. <laugh>

I think they will count up the applications already received, then ask Newcastle for the appropriate amount extrapolated from that.

It will be a few days before they know exactly how many tix have been applied for.

In any case, a few will get returned nearer the game.

We need to give the fans who bought tickets for matches over the years, the priority on all away tickets in the PL.

It's funny how people want to go to games now.

We were taking sod all away last season right up until the Barnsley match.

You could still buy tickets for the Man City game the day before the game so I don't think we're selling out too soon.

Man City was £41 a ticket, with no students, this is £27 and £22 for students, its also not on TV. So clearly the demand is going to be far higher for a game such as this than Man City.

I'm getting lazy and I don't like the rubbish view that away fans get. I may get hospitality at Everton. They have a lounge for £114 - that's a lot less than most hospitality seats - but you get best seats and you can choose what food you want beforehand and pay extra for it.
At Chelsea I was shattered after shouting for 30 minutes.
I bet Beckham's seats at Arsenal cost £1,500 each - maybe Arsenal gave him freebies.

Effin' **** **** bollocks ****. I assumed these would go on general sale and so never bothered to make the effort to get an application in. I love going to Sid James' Park and wanted to do this one, especially at £22 for a ticket.

Doesn't he get free stuff because he's now an ambassador for Sky, is it?

    Might've just made that up.

I think famous ex-players get all sorts of freebies. He would only be dressed in a suit if he was going in the best restaurants there because they have a suit dress code.

Is there? I've just been on the phone with the ticket office and she told me they arent taking anymore applications until they've processed what they've already got.
