Ozil or Bale

So Real Madrid players are not happy Ozil has left as he was seen as bridging the gap between the Spanish players and the foreign players. Ronaldo also fed off his passes.

This got me thinking who would you want at LFC a playmaker like Ozil or a Bale type player who could produce a goal from nowhere for you, or do bugger all up against a well set up team.

Personally I would prefer Ozil.

Neither. We are already well passed needing either of them.

Lizard features or monkey features? Its a tough decision, I would go for Bale but hes not £40mil better than Ozil.

 

Quite seriously why would we want either of them? Neither of them fits neatly into our patterns of play. We have a group of young players who will develop together and with a little luck a couple will match or even surpass both Bale and Ozil.

An article about Ozil - about halfway down is a table comparing his stats with Bale. Needless to say Ozil comes out far on top.

 

Comes out on top of Iniesta and Xavi too. Seriously, CR just lost about half of his assists for the year unless someone else steps up. THe Ozil- Ronaldo combination is pretty widely known as being the best 1-2 punch in terms of service and end result in the world.

 

Personally would take Ozil, no idea why Real would sell him.

Hopefully Ozil will start laying them on a plate for Walcott in a similar way to how he has done with Ronaldo.

 

I know he is going into my fantasy prem team. Ozil is one of those that is just class for me, really really a top player. Real made a killing of this deal as they only bought him for some 14 mil euros and just sold him for what 60 mil euros ( 42 mil pounds)???

 

Think it works out at just under 50m euroes ish.

 

Andi agree, he is top class. Can't wait to see him playing in the premiership!

Mesut Ozil is a great player and the gooners must be over the moon to get him. i'd love to see him in the red of Liverpool.

Much more intelligent player for me. A player for almost any type of game, whereas Bale blows hot and cold a bit.
Think Real may have dropped one on this deal, but we'll see.
