What gets me though, we have only spent relatively big for a few years. We get decent sponsorship, we sell a canny few shirts, christ I,ve got 12 ...reminder to self, must clear out wardrobe...(in the next 10 years) we get good TV money. If, and all pointers says it is, all this money is goint to the players. 60m (odd) then I' 100% behind ES. The only problem with that we will be cut out of the market. just look at Norwich, Southampton, Cardiff etc. We must stay in this league. AT ALL COSTS.

I don't run a reign of terror, i have my generals do that<whistle> (guess the quip about a general?)

If i did have a pop about the constant United drivel, all well and good, **** em, but he shouldn't take it so personal, seems half the ****ing world supports them anyway.

    Fletcher World class???

heard everything now, no where bloody near World Class, and its got nowt to do with him playing for Scotland either (even though he was born in Shrewsbury).

Keane spent Drummavilles cash not shorts
Bruce was 11 million over 3 years ((debt, what debt (on Transfers anyway))
MON 22 million over 18 months
    PDC £360,000

not a lot of cash spent at all, lots of **** bought but what do you expect for peanuts.

I am not expecting the messis or ronaldos of this world, but some outlay would be good especially with the cash we are getting in every season.

So why is he a bad signing, or not a good signing?

he isnt even in the same city never mind ball park to world class though. he is a 1 in 3.27 striker, which is pretty poor especially as 6 years he was in Scotland, and he almost goes down every year (even with us last year) his goals very rarely are important ones IE get us points at the end of the game, I just dont rate him, never have and probably never will (unless he does get this phantom 20 league goals a season, but he will need to play 65 league games to get that at his 3.27 games per goal and gets us 30+ points from his goals, and gets us well away from the relegation zone.

His 12 goals for Wolves got them 9 points, Bents 24 goals for us got us 34 points, im not sure on Fletchers 12 last year as i never worked it out, but i bet is wasnt much more (if not even less) than 1 point per goal.

Maybe you should mate. He won us 12 points mate. We would have finished second bottom. He even bagged a brace twice to save our arse. He only played half a season too.
