When your opposition are panicking by putting you under pressure, it is better for you to let them have the ball and try to counter attack. One thing I am not sure of, if Fergie was the manager they might get a dodgy penalty.
Our League games in September: Mon 16 Sep 2013 - Premier League Swansea v Liverpool 20:00 Sat 21 Sep 2013 - Premier League Liverpool v Southampton 15:00 Sun 29 Sep 2013 - Premier League Sunderland v Liverpool 16:00 I think all of them are winnable if we can play well, however there is no easy game in the premiership.
I can't get a handle on Swansea this season. I know its early and all that but they just don't seem to have recovered from their Cup Final.
Swansea are a good team, but I do think many pundits and rival fans jumped the gun early on their early Europa showing.. Some even putting them as dark horses for fourth which was mind boggling. With that said, Laudrup has put together a tidy squad, one which is more than capable of beating anyone on any given day. But if we play at 100% we should have enough to beat them.

I think it's an advantage that BR knows a lot about them because it means that he will take them more seriously than most managers might. For example, I remember BR saying last year that he picked Jordan Henderson vs Swansea for the specific purpose of having him man mark Leon Britton. I am confident that we can get at least a draw. I'd be satisfied with 4 points from our next 2 games.
The form Swansea are in we should definaty be targeting 3pts. We have more difficult fixtures later in the season where we can drop points. This is 3pts we need if we want top 4.
I agree with this. No disrespect to the Swans, but if we really want to show signs of progress and make a serious top four challenge, we must be expecting to win these games.
