    Andy Carroll - £15m to West Ham United
    Steven Caulker - £8m to Cardiff City
    Stewart Downing - £6m to West Ham United
    Dwight Gayle - £6m to Crystal Palace
    Jonjo Shelvey - £5m to Swansea City
    Tom Huddlestone - £5m to Hull City

    Any that's being overpaid?

    Dwight Gayle and Jonjo Shelvey I'd say are worth nowhere near that amount.

    Gayle's probably closer to 3m.


    Apart from that i'd say they're spot on.

    Shelvey to Swansea and Downing to West Ham are inspired signings in my opinion.


    Both talented players who couldn't cut it at a big club and I expect them to thrive.

    It seems to be cool to hate Jonjo Shelvey though I've no idea why. Gayle is definitely overpriced and his face is annoying.

    shelvey is a good signing for swansea, gayle does have the look that annoys you though
