Or - better still - kidnap him, strip him naked, and throw him out of the van in Withernsea. That'll teach him... And if it's raining, so much the better.
Unless WBA can replace Lukaku's 17 league goals last season then they'll struggle this season. Looking at their strike force they ain't gonna do it. Maybe Clarke was thinking 'string Hull City along and pull out as late as possible'. He's giving his own team every conceivable advantage against a relegation rival. That's all.
"WITHERNSEA resort, with its rebuilt promenade is a much underrated gem. The traditional seaside resort of Withernsea has a recently redesigned and rebuilt promenade, providing plenty of opportunity for lazy Summer strolls along the seafront. Often underrated, Withernsea has a lot to offer; starting with the town's landmark white lighthouse, which, at 127ft tall, is a beacon for the surrounding area. With its wide promenade, which reaches North and South from the town's historic entrance, Pier Towers, Withernsea has been popular with families since the Victorian era. As you would expect from a seaside town, there are amusement arcades and family entertainment a plenty, including bowling alleys and children's adventure playgrounds. The town's facilities also include a nine-hole golf course and The Pavilion Leisure Centre, which has a swimming pool, a gym, a sauna, a sports hall and squash courts - meaning there's always something to do whether the infamously fickle British Sun decides to shine or not. There is a range of shops to be found in Queen Street and a variety of stalls at Withernsea Market, alongside a selection of Pubs, restaurants, cafés and takeaways. For information, visit www.withernseatowncouncil.co.uk" Underrated you see Clarkey would get himself down to the Bowling alleys with some 12 year-old kids wearing Burberry Caps and high-tops, walking around with WKD...
But of course, if Hull had Shane Long it'd be a totally different story They'll be fine. Long, Anichebe and Anelka are all better options than what you have now.
Surely Everyone at Hull City would consider and take the 3 points @ Wba on 21st december as more than enough payback for now.
He's past it in my opinion. WBA will be in trouble this season unless another striker steps up and bangs in 15 goals - only Lukaku's goals kept them clear of a relegation scrap last season.
Behave ffs. They were never going to be close to a relegation scrap. Lukaku only started 20 games for them.
To be fair, he did play in most of their games last season and he scored over a third of their Premier League goals.
Anyone who scores 17 goals is going to take a chunk out of their overall goal tally. But their midfield, defence, goalkeeper, manager AND backup strikers were plenty good enough to stay up. Which is why they did.
Anichebe is to put it mildly,'****' Anelka is old and a bit warped in the head and long over-rated so would have to disagree there. We could get goals with our strikers when we are not facing the likes of Chelsea and Man City or playing with ten men so it's way to early to make nonsensical judgements, will give you the benefit of the doubt seeing as you don't support our team.
