The Chairboys travel to the west country to play the Grecians in the paint pot. Changes are a must with this being the first of three long away trips at least one of our two experienced center halfs will be rested along with Deano who's on four yellows captain StuLew will return to midfield B-)
gaz has hinted that he thinks this tournements important, but I suspect he will rest some of the more senior players for tonight... we need 6 players who have started the most game for us, which I think would be ingram, McCoy, dunne (suspended), Doherty/Johnson/stewert (don't know whos the most), wood, scowen, lewis, Arnold, morgan and im nto sure who else? I suspect gaz will look to give at least one of McClure and bloomfield a run out with that in mind, I think tonight : ingram McCoy johnson Stewart hause wood kretchmer lewis Arnold McClure pittman/kuffour I don't think he'll play deano and I don't want him to, another booking here means he misses a game and the JPT isent the most important tournament COYB
Had this been a League game i'd have ventured down the M5 with my mate who is an Exeter fan but he's not willing to drive down for the painting by numbers cup.
I'm on the ferry back to France so will find it a bit tricky too. If I don't go to sleep I might catch the first half and look up the result when I get home. COYB Will we be playing in our funky away kit? That might dazzle them.
excellent result, McClure back to scoring, bloomfield getting more minutes under his belt, deano not getting booked..... all in all a very good 90 minutes!
That was a nice surprise to come home to. Shame about Colchester though. That should have been our passage to the next round.
Only one out on the line up not bad Food for thought no JPP or Spring in the squad JP may be injured but they were both bench warmers on Saturday
clearly im not too bad, Gaz 2.0 JP apparently had a slight back injury, no idea with matt spring but he presumably is now the 6th choice midfielder behind lewis, scowen, blooms, kretch and knott. its a pity in a way that spring has the class as a playmaker but he doesn't have the energy of the rest which is what gaz values in the team. As for JP, against oxford he was so embarrassing he will struggle to get anywhere near the team at the moment behind deano, McClure and craig all of which are scoring so its between JPP and kuffuor
