Saw this idea on SaintsWeb and thought it'd be an interesting discussion over here. We're not talking Paine, Channon, Davies, Keegan, Le Tissier, Pahars, Beattie, Lallana or Lambert. But those who you liked, whether it be for being a cult hero, trying hard, or simply whatever reason you liked them. Fire away... DTLW
Got to be Paul Telfer. Developed a real love for that guy. The Northam end big screen still has a mark from one of his shots.
I like Steve Davis too. Very good player indeed. Love his, all too rare, yeah exactly interviews as well.
Always liked Jo Tessem, he played all over the place and never seemed to let anyone down. Still lives in the area as well, coaching for Totton and Eling I think.
Nick Holmes Tony Funnel Rueben Agboola Chris Nicholl Mark Dennis Oops. Just re-read the title... Mark Dennis was great so he can't be in here.
Definitely Guly for me amongst the present lot, always had a soft spot. As for the past hmm Brett Ormerod.
Neal Trotman in the Cortese era. Before that... Rudi Skacel wasn't great for us, but I always loved him. I also quite liked Neil McCann. Not as a player, I just liked him.
But if you have a Saints account you can always log onto the Crystal Palace player and watch him there. I did for his welcome interview and he said yeah definitely loads of times.
I have SaintsPlayer so might do that haha. Saw him post sunderland game on sky, said it at least 3 times there.
