Always been the way. But Fellaini is average and massively overrated. In no way fits their style of play. Panic buy.
harsh, he isn't that Overated and is certainly not Average, just look at the stats. An he will fit fine in our midfield, everyone kept on about how we needed creativity, we have enough of that but just needed a bit of steel in the middle of the park which is what Fellani will bring.
So you just thought you'd wait until the last minute of the the last hour of the last day and pay £4m more than the original buyout clause? Face it, he was 4th choice and it was a panic buy done in order for Woodward to save his job.
6th choice we had bids in for every other decent MF player in the world before him. Tell me about manager who call your fans soft
Creativity is exactly what you need, and someone to drive through the midfield. The fact Moyes refused Ozil for Fellaini shows how clueless he is and more to the point indicates the style of football United will now play under him.
we could do with a world class playmaker yes but all year everyone has said that we needed that "bit of steel" in midfield a "box to box" if you like but now it comes and all opposition fans are saying creativity more. All opinions I know at the end of the day
Fourth choice Fellaini should be an okay if overpriced signing. But United needed a playmaker: first choice Fabregas too. Their cutting edge up front with an ageing Rvp may still mask dad's army's lack of quality in midfield. But it remains to be seen whether they maintain Fergie's fighting spirit under Moyes, which hid a multitude of sins. Of they had got JM, they would have maintained that winning mentality for sure.
Then why not buy him when his release was 4 million less? You obviously didn't think he was worth it but when everything else failed to come off you had your pants pulled down by Kenright at the last minute. You were desperate for anyone at that point to not put too much pressure on Moyes and Woodward. Given the silly offer you made for the 2 Everton lads previously, have to say Everton must have loved United coming back to them at the 11th with their tail between their legs.
In all honesty DL I'm sure united would have loved to have acquired Ozil, fact is they couldn't afford him or the wages so had to look at cheaper options. WDL in the first three games has Moyes all over it, mid-table and in decline. By the time the board put a stop to this he will sadly have been known as stop-gap Moyes.

Nail on the head as per KO Only scored in one Premier League game all season, even Palace have scored in more. That's standard Moyes and with the annual loss in the Manc derby against City coming up the pressure will crank up tenfold.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-claim-indirect-bid-sign-Wesley-Sneijder.html Are there any midfielders slowcoach Moyes did not try to sign this summer. Fellaini really was a desperation signing after all
