With sess mignolet and rose gone. Cattermole frozen out for no reason. Our team has got worse from last year, and we all know what happened last year. I'll get pelted by the enthusiasts here. But can anyone disagree that our team has weakend?
We don't know how good the new lads will be. Altidore may be better than Sess. Rose is admittedly a big blow. Cabral may end up better than Catts. Westwood is a decent keeper so we're not losing too much there... Just have to hope that the other new lads (Giac, Celustka, Diakite, roberge et al) have strengthened the squad enough to carry us home.
Why are people comparing Altidore with Sess? Sess is an attacking midfielder and Altidore is a 6ft odd centre forward. Yes it is weaker, that team that played against Palace is it for the season plus Ki and Borini, great lol
Sess was the attacking midfielder in a 5 man midfield. People on here just created some fictional role called "the Sess role" on here butin reality he was just the attacking midfielder in a 5 man midfield. Now we are stuck with a rigid 4-4-2 that got slaughtered against Palace, doesnt look good for the rest of the season does it now we have zero attacking midfielders. Shocking business and to our rival as well, the only ****ing club below us in the league and we sell our top goal scorer/creater in the past 2 seasons.
To be fair we had Wickham and Ji starting that game. It would have been different with Fletch and Jozy.
Personally Our team has got worse every window since we signed Gyan, that was our height and every window since we have gone backwards. I will support the team as I have always done but I feel the owner has made his mind up he is going to give this Italian revolution a go and if it does not work he will start again from the championship.

The Sess we would miss only turned up a couple of times a season so lets stop building him up into some sort of hero - thats just insulting Phillips, Hutchison and other players who delivered week in week out, Sess never did that - did he, be honest.
