City's game vs Shrewsbury on Saturday has been rearranged after City asked for the match to be moved as Marvin Elliott (Jamaica), Derrick Williams (Republic of Ireland U21s) and Wes Burns (Wales U21s) were named in their respective squads. What a lamo excuse Burns is a bench warmer not even playing a part in any of there matches so that means the game was rearranged as they had two players called up for Int duty. The league has been far to lenient Methinks that it was something else. Perhaps the real reason was that O Driscoll was very concerned about the recent run of form 3pts from five matches standing at 20th in the league and felt he would have more time to work with the players. This could backfire on City as they may dependant on Sat/Sun results have dropped into the relegation zone. What do you think Gasheads COR View attachment 25942
yeah because we made it rain and put a gun to the ref's head to make him postpone the game we get 9/10 1st teamers injured and we have to carry on as normal. city get 2 1st teamers called up on international duty and the game gets re-arranged. dont seem fair. oh well though, it is what it is. hope baldock gets sold tonight. think he is their best player.
We done it because we know you clobbers will try and injure some of our players. But it's 4 players anyway 3 from first team and Wes Burn's the only thing I can think off is it gives SoD more time to work on them, games are coming quick we would of played 4 games in 12 games after your shower of ****e turn up at AG
The only thing Gannon was right about was leaving the sinking ship that is Stockport County. They're now in the Conference North, just 11 short years after playing in the 2nd tier.
they got promoted to league 1 in 2007/08 season and ended 18th 2008/09 season. same season as city. debt hit stockport and down they went. city £50million in debt..... hmm, a pattern is building
You and stock were similar sized clubs (stockport slightly bigger) it can happen to anyone with a terrible board making terrible decisions No but seriously what the actual **** happened to them??
terrible like spending £50million just to get relegated? terrible like get a new stadium and it backfires like darlington what happened to stockport? taken from wiki... At the end of 2012–13, Stockport were relegated to the Conference North, 11 years after they had last competed in the second tier of English football and becoming the only team to drop from that tier to the sixth. On 30 April 2009, Stockport County were placed into administration following a battle to repay creditors. It followed a petition by a creditor to repay a loan of around £300,000. Recently, the club has struggled to repay a tax debt of £250,000 to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs. On 16 December 2009 the team's training ground was put up for sale. Several failed takeovers went on from then and several managers came and went. Unable to buy new players and relying on youth contributed in their downward spiral from the 3rd tier to the 6th tier.
