The poor ****er will be rolled out again. Even on Saturday he was still trying to apply pressure with his "key signing" comment. It would be lovely to hear him turn round and say "Well we're going in short and I've been badly let down". He won't obviously but it would be funny just to see the reaction.

I'm not in any way surprised and I think most would echo that.

There is still time for us to announce something but its unlikely and unexpected.

Frustrated? Of course but mostly bemused about what Kinnear actually was appointed for and has been doing to earn his keep.

I wouldn't mind if the club said they had tried to strengthen but they had rigid valuations of players and once fees escalated to levels they were unwilling to meet they held to their principles and pulled out of deals as they no longer saw them as being in the clubs best interests.

We got a handful of good signings in January and I'm sure that work is going in to try and line up players for good prices who they believe can do a job in the premiership. Being realistic we need to keep on an even keel and its good to think we can run a club and either make money or at least not lose money hand over fist like some. Its not a very sexy aim nor one which gives immediate returns but provided we can maintain a midtable squad (or better) we can at least have confidence we will still be in existence in a decade. Which is something.

Help me out, I'm trying to find positives on what has been a depressing day.

There isn't an ounce of integrity amongst any of them. Same old towing of the same old party line, l don't know how he has the gall to carry on spewing the same crap week in and week out.
Dragging excuses over the line is the only thing this sad sack can manage.
    This whole saga is disgusting

Complete Bottom feeder and I have no ****ing pity for him. He knew what he was getting himself into. Keegan was a man of integrity - people can say stuff like 'He left us in the lurch' but the reality was Keegan didn't want to deliberately mislead the fans. Keegan would never pedal the **** Pardew throws at us. Thats why he resigned. He wasn't willing to be a ****ing puppet and treat the fans like ******s the way Pardew does.

Not a Pardew fan and the Man City performance was disgusting (both Hull and Cardiff showed us how to make a game of it). We improved against West Ham and then further improved on Saturday, add to that the fact that he's obviously trying to eliminate the hoofball and it appears he's learning from last year.

He's been hung out to dry in this window and left short of two players in my opinion. However that said he should still be able to steer us in to the new year in and around 10th place. He'll go a long way to winning me back if he doesn't immediately drop Anita and doesn't recall Tiote and Jonas as soon as they're fit.

I'd give our start a 6/10 but I've seen a change in our style of play and I've said all along that's the biggest thing for me. As I said the Villa game is huge in terms of Pardew regaining my confidence, recalls for Tiote and Jonas (especially at the expense of Anita) and I'll be mystified. If he picks the team based on form and we continue to play the ball on the deck then fair play to him as he'd be starting to rectify last seasons error.

Have to say me voting for a toon loss if Pardew got sacked was wrong, he does still have a lot of work to do for me though but in the last two league games he's started to at least lay the foundations for this and hopefully he continues to do so.

You're entitled to your opinion about Keegan, but Pardew is a complete and utter bottom-feeder. He's got no say and no shame. The man's a complete ****ing puppet, and he's more than happy to fulfil that role. He'd allow himself to be used by a footstool by Ashley and Kinnear in public and still not resign.

Don't talk crazy. It would be much better for Pards to throw a KK hissyfit for not getting his own way, quit and leave Joe as our figurehead.
