Crystal Palace are among a host of clubs battling to sign Nathaniel Chalobah on loan from Chelsea, along with Queens Park Rangers and Watford. Who?
Apparently he was a Watford last season, is quick and very promising but very young... Look at me answering my own posts!
Here you are Cannock this will save you having to wade through 120 odd posts, Escapegoat posted this at 2pm.....
it does look like Hoillett and Joey will stay at the club... "David McIntyre ‏@davidmcintyre76 16 min Beginning to look like the Hoilett fan club can breathe and relax. #QPR James Norris ‏@jamonorris 15 min @davidmcintyre76 what about Joey? David McIntyre ‏@davidmcintyre76 13 min @jamonorris not much happening there now Rangers no longer looking to pay him up."
Two for the price of two "The whole idea of United offer a 'Package Price' for the Everton pair was idiotic from the start," writes David Hale a commercial economist. "The commercial logic in offering a combined price for anything is a direct acknowledgement that you are either looking for a discount over the individual valuations, or you are offering a 'persuasion bonus' by taking on board by taking an unsellable asset off someone's hands in order to get the other one. As the latter is clearly not the case here, then Everton would always have been stupid to accept any combined offer." Yes - but does that mean that Spurs consider Benoit Assou-Ekotto an unsellable asset â they have reportedly told QPR that unless they take the left-back on loan and cover his wages then they can't have Tom Carroll on loan for the season.
Good deal imo. Ekotto is a very good full back and would solve our left back problems. Carroll is highly rated.
Thats exactly what Levy did with us with Townsend and Jenas. Carroll isnt the type of play that you take on another player and pay him millions in wages. Id rather get a better player, Newcastle got Remy for £2m. Carroll would end up costing us a lot more than that.
all quiet on the Cesar front too. looks like we're stuck with him. hope green retains his place. 3 clean sheets and 2 goals conceded in 5 games can't be argued with.

Shows up Beard for being the amateur that he is.
