Skrtel played well yesterday but he will very much be fourth choice under BR. Can't tell you who will play out of the other three though.
Sakho and Toure would be hard to get past but as far as partnerships I think Agger and Sakho could be a good one.
I can't see our recently awarded vice-captain getting dropped tbh. ********* As for the spat, come on guys- neither of you are usually like this. We're all on the same side here, I think there's just been a bit of a misunderstanding somewhere.
Dribbles, I think you mistook banter for insults. We all like you as a poster, Dr wasn't being hostile. No need to call him scum.
Toure & Agger. Best start to a season in god knows how long, 3 clean sheets (albeit Toure wasn't involved in one). The new guys need to earn their place first.
Have to see how the new guys gel. Too early to tell... suspect by seasons end Sakho could be starting regularly. Think it will be Toure and Dagger early on. Skrtels head may have scored its last goal for us... bet he will be gone at xnas
Where im from what "what other tongues" do you speak in just a way of saying what other languages do you speak Thats all Maidenhead, if you misunderstood then I apologise but I didnt meant anything I think its really cool to speak more than one language hence my emoticon in my post which what seemed to start this
Is he though? I see it slightly differently. Toure and Skrtel vie for the right centre back spot and Agger and Sakho left. With Ilori and Wisdom too that's 3 for each position.
I'm with Gerrez. Agger/Toure/Sahko as main 3. Skrtel as 4th choice, with Ilori, Wisdom & Kelly the young back up. This hole RCB and LCB thing doesn't make much difference to me. If you have a right left combination it's helpful, but plenty of successful partnerships who were both same footed in the past.
Carragher was VC all of last season, was dropped for all the 1st half. No one is guaranteed a start, captain, vice captain or not.
Completely agree. CBs rarely get in position where footedness matter. Put the two best in there regardless of foot or two... or even three footedness.
Nor should they otherwise what's the point in having depth to a squad? Play the best team possible. That might mean maintaining a partnership even if someone is below par because the partnership is better than the sum of its parts or it could mean dropping someone on form because he doesn't suit that particular match etc etc... This is the attitude you get with competition: @KoloKolotoure28: Training really hard and will be treating every game as if its a final. The fans have been incredible.
