Not over yet as it will no doubt spark plenty of moves tomorrow. Just seen on the news that his agent is getting £5m for brokering the deal! Now that's money well spent by someone.......and then we wonder why some football clubs struggle for money!
Oh I can cope with differen players at various clubs. But the Bale saga was frustrating. We all knew he was going to Madrid and it woud be for a record fee. It was just so bloody drawn out!
Good morning all from a STILL muggy Weston-super-Mare! Where is this cooler weather they promised? Have a good day!
Morning all from a bright & sunny West West London, although the sky was a bit pink this morning, so not sure how the old saying of "red sky in the morning..." is going to run.
G'day dave - don't worry, it's on its way from here & won't take long. 9C at the moment, sunny but cool....
Morning all, sunny and a good temperature for doing things and already lots of vapour trails across the sky. Living in the middle of the country we have plenty of high level aircraft passing over although you hardly ever hear them.
Morning all Another sunny day here. Painters should finish the outside windows today. Pleased they've had two weeks' fine weather to do it, less happy that I have an empty wallet again. And the boiler and central heating still have to be serviced. I think a lottery ticket purchase might be on the cards...
Morning all. I am posted up at the training ground but there are no players around which would suggest that they have been given a few days off to visit family as we have 7 traveling to meet up with their respective international teams.
This is Cathedral Cove Beach in New Zealand at sunrise! Wow! NZHorn or kiwiqpr, what can you tell us? please log in to view this image
It's over 1000km from me, with a three hour boat trip as well, so I can't tell you anything. Nice sunrise, though - for the North Island!
Morning all from a determinedly muggy Weston-super-Mare! They are now predicting another heatwave over the next few days down here! Have a good day!
Morning all from an overcast and relatively cool Jersey, although the rain we had last night may have something to do with that. As the kids are back at school today, the roads in St. Helier will be very busy - one of the occasions where I'm glad I can't drive and that I live close enough to work that I can walk. Any other WFC fans think that the best business we did yesterday was keeping our #9?
Morning all from a brightening West West London - set to be another warm day today. Thank god that transfer window bollox is over again for a couple of months.
I went there when I was much younger its beautiful, also went to hot water beach in that area, dug a hole and relaxed in warm thermal water while the waves broke oer feet, NZ truly is Gods own country....
It's fun digging your own thermal pools. There is a river in the bush fairly near me where we do that. The sand flies can be a pain in the bum, though, quite literally.
