well you've not given an actual thread at all and if you chose one specifically about gervinho that would be stupid or a transfer news one that would be equally ridiculous as it is all part of the transfer speculation and as i said earlier due to it being the close season there will be a lower quality of posts and threads
On the English degree front, go and program a Genetic Algorithm then come back and tell me it's easier than reading about linguistics. If we are playing the pedant game here, I can find three errors in your post above alone: "so i called you a ****!" First person singular pronoun is not capitalized. "You haven't read the ****ing thread if you're referring to the title, the first post explains what I said" Semi-colon would have been more appropriate than comma. "You're the one just jumping in trying to sound smart, when..." No need for comma.
I studied Linguistics in Cognitive Science, so was more in relation to language formation and processing by the brain, not the ins and outs of spelling/punctuation/grammar. I get lazy when typing posts, so don't structure my sentences perfectly. Sorry Loiner
