Collymore went as far as to say Levy has made a fool of himself. He went on to say that Levy was hoping to gloat about the NLD result before the Bale deal was announced
SSN are about to announce some big breaking news about another transfer target. This must be the first time SSN have had a camera outside Colney.I'm looking forward to Wenger winding down the car window and saying "Ozil is a triffic player"
I said for ages the reason the Bale transfer was delayed was to hinder our transfer progress. The slimy git. "This is chess not checkers!"
Surely it's a good move by Levy to try to hinder their major competitors?! Happens in business all the time. Which football is. This time it didn't come off, and I've no idea why they didn't sign off on the Bale deal around about now instead of yesterday. I would have pushed it to the wire to stop Arsenal signings players were I him.
Ba on loan would suggest to me that the very top strikers are not attainable at the moment and we want a short term option while either Walcott develops into a striker or we bring in a new world class striker in January or next summer. Ba would be a good back-up striker though.
Agreed Ba would make a very good backup striker but would Chelsea saction the loan especially after we've signed Ozil? Very risky move from Chelsea and Maureen may disrupt it?
Sounds likley. Liverpool wont sell Suarez for less than £50 Million, Benzema doesnt want to leave Madrid.. Rooney is probably the only TOP striker left.
These days, they probably don't have a choice with FFP, every penny little helps when ur looking to get someone off the wage bill.
I'd be very happy to get BA, he's top quality, Chelsea as usual, just got a very good player, and went on the path of ruining him, as they did to many other top players.
Ba is the type of signing that would bite them on the backside afterwards. He could become our CF on merit alone, though Giroud is on top form.
