With the arrival of Sakho, BR has a new selection headache (a good one I may add). But who makes way? Toure - Bossed the back line before he got injured. Looks dangerous at corners. We could do with his leadership, passion and experience. Agger - One of my favourite players, but has looked vulnerable at times. Recently made VC but I don't think his leadership qualities are as apparent as Toure's. Skrtel - One great performance, can he keep it up? Looks set to continue as back up. No one - Keep it as it is, work Sakho into the team off the bench. As soon as Toure or Agger get injured or drop in form, Sahko will get his chance. What do you reckon?
In our glory days. Nobody went straight in to the team. I think we should keep it as it is, (for now.) But I believe any two of the four can do a job immediately and then we still have Wisdom, Ilori and Coates to come in
I'd like to see the same. There will be injuries etc. 3 at the back? Anyone know how long Cissoko is out for btw?
Just pleased we now have enough to cover all but the worst injury crisis, if we could add shay Given before the end of the day ill be a happy bunny indeed, oh and keep Luis
Not a bad shout, we have some versatile players that can fill in at wing back too. Would limit someone (Hendo most likely) in midfield though
I think Toure has been immense - provides a voice, experience and infectious enthusiasm for the game. Should definitely go back into the team. Agger should remain until Sakho proves he is capable in training. Personally, I can see Sakho and Toure as the partnership as they possess all the qualities required to thrive under BR's system. In addition, they both speak French which can help. As mentioned above, I can also see the potential to play 3 at the back from time to time.
The new players apart from Victor Moses have no premiership experience, they need to be introduced gradually. In the thick of the season all the players can be useful especially if we are in the cup competitions, Capital one and FA .Eventually, I think Martin Skrtel may have to move on. Also do not forget that Toure is over 30 and may not be there for too long with Liverpool.

Our defence is awful at defending against set pieces and seem to get bullied when the ball is in the air. With the likes of Toure, Cissokho and Sakho, I'm a lot more confident!
