Aspas has to adjust to the pace of the game in the PL, but i think he will be decent when he does. Got an assist already which is good considering we only have 3 goals, and hes also got in some good positions where he would of scored had he received the pass. I Predict he'll get 7-10 goals and the same amount of assists this season but we'll see! Anyway he miles ahead of Borini who didn't really turn up in a single game i can remember.
Aspas is a clever little player and I think he'll be a very good squad player. Suarez will replace him in our attack though. Re. Sterling - he did get shoved off the ball a few times but he was up against Valencia who is an absolute beast of a player and built like a brick sh*thouse.
I cannot beleive people are ignoring how weak aspas is in the prem. Sorry but the guy is now in my mind a reserve and useful for Europe (which we have not games for him) and he's going to have to go some to get back into my mind as a first team option. ?Not enough pace to be as lightweight as he is. he's a worker but... nah not up to the prem.... not against decent sides anyway.
I thought he would be naive towards the end of the game and try taking people on but he ran the clock down very well. But at times he really did just get shrugged off the ball like men against boys.
MITO, the bloody season is 3 matches old and you are already writing-off players!!! Are you morphing into MFG?
