The ****ty degrees is my point of view, I've seen what most courses involve that I would call ****ty and they are ****ty. I can't be bothered with this North/South bullshit, that was Loiner that brought it up. 95% is probably accurate Now replace the '****s' with 'Geordies' so it doesn't offend you and answer my question

I'm not from Newcastle but my wife is a Geordie and I've lived all over the UK, and hand on heart there is NOWHERE else in the country I'd rather live and it pisses me off that people like you make dumb ass genralisations about a place you no nothing about.

I refuse to watch it, I've seen the adverts for it and can see how bad it is. The fact they have found the biggest bunch of idiots from Newcastle,Sunderland and Middlesborough to make this programe and to then title it Geordie Shores is an insult in it's self. What makes it worse is people actually think that's what everyone is like up here
Well there's a issue with that statement, opinion doesn't beget fact. Yes, you're entitled to an opinion or a point of view, but 'i say it is so it is' doesn't work in the real world. When you say ****ty what exactly do you mean? That they're offered at all of the leading Universities? That they can lead to a huge variety jobs ranging from Politics to Education? That on average they require higher entrance marks than many of the newer technology based degrees? Or that they (wrongly in my opinion) carry far more academic weight than their modern technology based counterparts? I doubt very much that you've 'seen' what my English course involved but please, explain to me what aspects of the degree I have just completed were ****ty? You say Loiner brought it up and yet you felt that gave you a justifiable reason to refer to it? Hitler may have begun the holocaust but that doesn't excuse those in the uniforms who committed murder! And 95% is accurate based upon the graphic? That's the only additional information you've provided...Again, I'll ask you for a justifiable reason and await a decent answer?

About half my friends at Uni were English students, and I often had to sit in the pub and listen to them go on about the books they're reading. Reading books and writing essays about them isn't hard, even at Uni level. Engineering, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science,... are all subjects I'd personally consider not ****ty. Now what you fail to grasp is that I was using a descriptive adjective to present my opinion of said degrees, you maybe disagree with that, but I can't give you 'facts' as it is my opinion. I never mentioned anything at any point about North/South that I can remember, please show me if I did. As I said but you happily read through the lines, Loiner started going on about it. Now the 95%. If I went and looked at the posts of 100 of your Geordie lot, selected randomly, I reckon only 5 would posters would not be talking about Gervinho or saying 'rep', but then again it is my estimation, please do the maths for me I can't be bothered to trawl through all the ****e on your pages.
