What people seem can't grasp is Bale has had one very good season. Where as Messi, Ribery, Ronaldo etc have done it season after season. That's why he's not in there league yet. He's also not played enough in CL, not his fault though. The Messi vs Ronaldo debate. As a pure all round footballer Ronaldo is better. He doesn't have a attacking weakness. Messi might be a better dribbler and better movement. But he doesn't have a weak foot as good as Ronaldo, or the shooting ability from outside the box or the heading ability. Messi's goals are a lot more team oriented where as Ronaldo's are more indivual. You can't compare medals because if he did that Wes Brown would be better then Gerrard and Lampard.
