Danny Welbeck's fall for the penalty incident was so dramatic! Had he fallen over naturally he might have got it but the superman dive did him no favours.
Absolutely pathetic behaviour from Cleverley and Van Rapey today. Childish idiots who resorted to violence when the tiniest thing didn't go their way. The thugs both deserved sending off, absolute amateurs. The awful behaviour by our less civilised opposition was handled well by our professional players today.
In a way I'm not too hacked off about this International break coming up.It will allow us to work on the recent injury problems and also integrate the new signings into the squad. I usually find it frustrating that the seasons barely kicked off and there's already a bloody break, but this just allows us some time to assess our excellent start and prepare for Swansea in two weeks time.
Yeah he can shut up can't he! 0 wins in 13 for the scrot. He's just like Fergie only without the managerial qualities.
Agreed, also allows the new signings to get some time training with the team (albeit a lot will be on International duty) before the next game. Allows Toure to recover, Johnson a chance to recover and Kelly to get fully fit.
Age old Man Utd, always been sore losers on the pitch. Not a totally bad quality to have as no one should like losing but still, there are ways and means of fighting for points.
MOTD2 update: John Hartson, 'That's why the striker is the most important player on the pitch.' Alright John, we'll not play any defenders or a goalkeeper in future.
Was never a penalty in a million years, Welbeck went down like a sack of spuds. I can see your mouth moving David, but all I can hear is blah blah blah blah blah.
Ex-players as pundits are always fail because they're basically illiterate and can only speak in cliches. They should either just show the highlights and **** off or get a wider range of analysts on, some actual journalists maybe. An ex-ref or something too.
WTF was up with Jones? Ford didn't touch him at all and Jones landed on Ford's foot! Cleverley's "revenge" tackle was both laughable (because Coutinho just gone on with it) and ridiculously stupid too, deserved his booking. RvP should have seen red for the attempted stamp on Agger #intent Notice they didn't show Gerrard's tracking and superb tackle
