Surely it's worth paying the daily sky sports fee for today?!

    I second this.

I have just bought it. You can get a NowTV Sky Sports pass for £10. It gives you the skysports channels for 24hours.

Definetely worth it today with Utd Liverpool and Spurs Arsenal!

Just about to set off for Islington for a pre match drink!

Not looking forward to this today, concerned that we've got a lot of new players whereas their team have played together for a long time and all know how much this match means.
Our new players will have been told the importance of the game but probably won't understand it till they've played in it.

At this point I'd take a draw over there!

    go to wiziwig.tv
    click "live sports"
    click "football"
look at the time the game starts. i.e 4pm. - go down the list till you find the 4pm KO's.
    choose the game.
It'll take you to a page that has loads of possible sites to watch the game on.
On the left hand side, look for one that has "flash" written below the name of the channel.

click the link and it'll open a new tab with the game on (there might be adverts covering the screen that you'll need to close).

Note: Will not work on apple devices as they don't have flash.

I have a mac and used this last week against Swansea.

Please note the feed doesn't work until an hour before kick off.

a contest of two midfields, strength and power v craft and vision with both teams having pace on the wings and dodgy full backs, thats why ive gone for a score draw.

whats interesting for us is how Avb. will use the new players as we now have two players for every position bar full back, over loaded in midfield, Avb has to get the system right but today maybe we will see a cameo role from one of our new signings.

it's far better value for money to do what you've done though, SD. As long as you're happy watching other games, and not just spurs...

As much as Sky is expensive I couldn't now not have it. They do such a good job with sports coverage. And I love all sports, cricket, rugby, motor racing, tennis. Their coverage has even got me into darts!! So I don't begrudge the subscription as I do get my money's worth. My wife and I have a deal that she watches her soaps in the week and I can watch why sport I want at the weekend. As long a it doesn't clash with X factor! Having 2 babies does mean the matches get interrupted though!

X factor is repeated about 3 or 4 times every week, So Footie or F1 must take president. The wife and I have a deal. I go to work, she stays at home with the baby. Night times and weekends are for sport (when I am in the house) she can watch catch up TV when I am at work. I cook all of my own dinners and freeze about 20 currys at one go. In fact there are a couple of big stock pots full of curry on the stove at the moment. This way is good for her because she doesn't have to cook for me and good for me because I can eat curry and drink wine whilst watching football. If there is no football on then we can watch x factor type stuff and I can pretend to be interested. Some of the singers are actually quite good, it's just the program format that makes it so ****. Can't say they same about soaps, I'd prefer to slowly pull my own toes nails out than watch that stuff. Fortunately my Mrs is too intelligent to follow that stuff.

Collymore has just Tweeted that Bale is on the bench today, if that's true, which I doubt, its madness.

Looks like Lemela is in the squad

That was rubbish as expected, Spurs subs 2m
#THFC subs, Lamela is included: Friedel, Naughton, Holtby, Lamela, Sandro, Sigurdsson, Defoe.

Lloris; Walker, Dawson, Vertonghen, Rose; Capoue, Paulinho; Townsend, Dembele, Chadli; Soldado. #THFC #COYS

I'm happy enough with the team, and once more will be smiling/laughing as some ghost of a player that wasn't in any Spurs XI I saw in Spursdom, except mine, will be leading out the team for the third consecutive league match.

Love it, love it, love it.

I also love that this forum is one of the most respectful to Capt Daws in Spursdom. Unfortunately I've been banned from the most disrespectful forum, otherwise I'd be giving the 'know nowts' on there plenty of stick, and doubtless getting banned anyway:smiley:

Looking at the team sheets I still go for a draw.

If I was to back any team to win, it would be us, but I expect the ref to favour Arsenal so a draw it is I reckon.
