i always wonder why they pick a man of the match from the winning team . I felt we had many players who despite the scoreline were better than man citys

    Tom huddlestone
    Curtis davies
    James chester

Owen said, "Many City players haven't really stood out, I've been more impressed with Hull players, like Thudd, Curtis and Davies. But i'll have to go with Fernandinho"

    1. Davies
    2. Aluko
    3. Graham

Davies was a rock at the back and aluko was everywhere. Graham worked his socks of and was unlucky with a few that didn't quite bounce his way. We can take a lot from that performance but no doubt motd will make it out to be man city playing badly rather than hull playing well

Don't know if anyone's paid a visit to the Man City forum but a lot of them are talking about how Huddlestone was man of the match and they wish they'd signed him and that he'd walk into their team. Quite astonishing that we've got a player of his quality, only need 2 things now, him to stay injury-free and Bruce to sign someone who can finish the chances he creates.

huddlestone is the best passer of the ball england have and one of the best in the premier league

    he really is quality

honestly, our midfield is in the top 12 of the premier league

get a good striker in and we are laughing

compare our team to sunderlands.. ours absolutely ****s all over theirs

apart from they have fletcher and altidore

Agree. I haven't seen a better CMF than ours in the Prem. Thudd is a class above and was a steal at 5 mill. Just hope we get Jake Livermore signed. Brilliant business by SB to get them both.

As for strikers, Altidore with his speed, strength, rocket shot, and vastly improved heading ability and movement off the ball, would be a brilliant combination with Aluko. Maybe Di Canio will have a moment of madness and take Graham back in exchange for Jozy. I wish!!

i'd rather have fletcher than altidore.. fletcher is so under rated, almost got that abysmal ****e pathetic sunderland performance a point today off the bench

he should come to a big club <whistle> like us and join mcgregor

Davies - Can see why Bruce was so eager to replace Hobbs with him.
Graham - Hopefully people realise he's a decent player.
Huddlestone - Makes everything look so easy.

Quinn looked class too when he came on. Would bring him in for Koren and Rosie for Elmo v Cardiff.

    1 Huddlestone 2 Davis 3 Chester
Brilliant performance by the whole team we are showing we deserve our place in this league ......
Chester is doing fine and learning quickly I'm sure you wouldn't want him to allow players to go by without attempting a challenge . its not he fault of our players that others need to make a meal from every challenge

    Davies
    Huddlestone
    Graham

Can't compliment Davies and Huddlestone enough, absolutely outstanding. Livermore just compliments Huddlestone with his running and tracking, also a fantastic player.

Credit to Graham, really put himself about won headers, got in front of his man and stayed strong. Hard to judge him as he's played away at Chelsea, against Norwich for 30 minutes with 10 men, and Man City away, unless we bring someone else in I guess we will see what he's really got to offer against Cardiff.

    1. Davies
    2. Huddlestone
    3. Livermore

Every player played really well, only small thing i noticed is, Aluko maybe got caught in possession a few times after going too far with the ball. But that is just a pedantic comment really. If he had made a few earlier passes then i think he would have been top of my list, but its easier to see sat in the comfort of your armchair. Maybe we are now spoilt with the passing of Hudd who makes it look so easy.

Graham is way under-rated and I can't understand why people are so desperate for him to fail. Koren covered a lot of ground as he did last week and that shot was brilliant but he let us down with his final ball when he nicked it in behind Nastasic early on and that's what frustrates me about him. He's supposed to be an attacking midfielder but his touch and passing always seem to be ****e at the most vital time. Aluko played well but that miss was ridiculous. Those two moments cost us the game. You simply have to score chances that easy. We've been ****ing these opportunities up for years now. We aren't going to stay up just through good defending and playing good football if we can't score. In games like that it's vital to take your chances when they come.

I'm surprised McGregor didn't make the top three, how far off was he?
