    Give Matthew Fryatt a go.

He's no slower than Daniel Graham and knows where the onion bag is- he doesn't miss many.

Deeney is a fantastic player, I don't think Rhodes could make it in PL.
    - I mean look at the team Rhodes is playing in.
The reason he stands out is cos he is surrounded by dross.
Deeney is in a talented Watfud team - and he still shines.
    DEENEY gets my vote.

I'd rather have Rhodes also, but I wouldn't say no to Deeney either. I think both are out of our budget even when you start chucking in part exchanges.

Shame tha we have no domestic loans left as I'm sure Demba Ba will be heading out on loan somewhere.

Okay Peter, get down off that damn cross! There were and always have been quite a few who have wanted a quality striker. :1980_boogie_down:

    What logic is that?

If Rhodes shines in a **** team then surely he's better?

    Honestly. **** for brains.

our team was the second best in the championship

but we had no scorer in double figures...

rhodes is a 20 goal striker atleast... in a **** team

    in a good team..

the fact the team is **** yet he scores so many goals

No goals in open play for 3 games?

You're right. Better not change anything or give a chance to a player whose finishing has always been sharp and successful.

But he's saying, it's easier to score goals in a good team with good service, than to score goals in a **** team with **** service.

Playing 2 of the best teams in Europe and a game with 10 men for an hour. You're right, the current strikers are **** and are never going to score.

I remember watching Rhodes and Griffith sharing striker duties when Scotland beat Croatia (?) in the WC qualifier recently. Griffith started and played 60...Rhodes got the last 30. No comparison. Griffith who Wolves have recalled from Hibs was far better. Fast, great energy, lethal left foot shot. Rhodes in comparison was slow, immobile, and looked out of his depth. I know which one I'd choose. At 8 mill. he's hugely overpriced. Griffith was available for one third of the price but Bruce never showed any interest. He was Scotlands Young Player of the Year last year with 30 goals.

Not much point in arguing about Fryatt. Sounds like either Boro or Forest are taking him. He's too slow for the Prem anyhow. Even when fit the Championship is his level.
