    Hi guys

Apologies if this post makes me look a bit daft. I'm in the armed forces and was away just before the end of last season on deployment. I'm back now and the QPR game will be the first game ive got to this season. I can't wait!

Heard a rumour that Yorkshire radio isn't going anymore so was just wondering what happened to the phone in after the match with Eddie Gray? Is it on another radio station or am I just behind with the times? I used to enjoy listening to it after the match.

    Cheers

Eddie and Thom Kirwin now do their commentary on LUTV which you have to be subscribed to. They also do the phone in after the match. I miss yorks radio for the matches as when I try to tune in to the BBC i always seem to get the Udders games. Maybe my set ain't getting the right signal.

92.4 and 103.xx are the ones, I think, for the Leeds games.

well good to have you (y) and if you do decide to try out for your dolphins then no one here will judge you for it....except Glory Hunter (our resident Daily Mail reader) who will probably rant how 'your lot' have changed the terms and conditions of his 'traditional' marriage.

OK, I'll bite. WTF is this 'dolphins' business? Is it realated to the 'golden rivet' story?

Sailors who qualify to serve on submariners are awarded a gold dolphins badge when they've finished their training.

I'm still yet to find the golden rivet hahaha!!

Haha. Old legend. Goes something like this.

Virgin sailor on first voyage is shown around the ship by old hand. Tells youngster all sorts of stats, finishing with how many thousand rivets were used to construct ship. He then mentions that there is a tradition that the last rivet used is made of solid gold, and placed in the shower area. Doubting newbie is introduced to said shower room & is invited to bend over & scratch paint off specific rivet to prove the story. Without going in to too much more detail, new sailor emerges from the showers having lost his virginity in more ways than one!

    That sound about right, Grogger?
