Chicharito scores first hattrick!

Mexico put five goals past El Salvador in the second half to win their opening game of the Gold Cup 2011.

A hat-trick by Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez and goals by Efrain Juarez and Aldo de Nigris gave Mexico the win in Arlington, Texas.

His overall game is not good enough in my opinion. He needs to improve so much to be called a good footballer. He has great movement and a good finish but everything else is rubbish. What exactly did we win with Ruud? Soon as we changed our game to players with a great overall game who can play in many pos, we started to win things and be successful.

From who? We all have seen how effective Hernandez is against teams who pass the ball, Arsenal and Barca. He simply can't do anything but finish. He needs to improve his touch and dribbling technique as well as his long distance shooting.

 

We've already won the Premiership with Hernandez and he was a big part of that

Heard it from you and Kamran. Of course Hernandez needs to improve his game; most footballers do!!! However he was signed to score goals and thats what he is doing. Instead of criticising him, support the lad. He's quality and hopefully will improve and become one of the top strikers in Europe.

Well, In the league only Arsenal is a good passing team, so just drop him in these 2 games.

 

I am just praying we don't sell Berba who could be replaced by the old timer Owen and Welbeck. If Berbs is sold we will need to sign a top striker as Hernandez is not yet a top player. Benzema is a top striker and so is Neymar, Aguero, Carvani, Hulk, Falacao and they could form a good partnership with Rooney.
