I'm well aware as to where we are, the situation is painfully obvious. Whether the forum needs to be inundated with negative nonsense that totally fails to read between the lines is another matter.

Hopefully it gives debuchy confidence for fulham. At worst it gives him some sort of positive managerial response in what may be a season lacking in positive opportunities. If you're suggesting that his performances should be publicly berated by pardew, only a few games in, then I don't know how to help you.

 

Well said. I seem to remember our "Loyal Supporters" giving dogs abuse to Perch not so long ago too.
For gods sake have our fans always got to have someone in the team to abuse. As i have said on here before abusing a player wont help him improve. Get behind him and be a "Loyal Supporter" and give support to try to help all of the players be encouraged enough to perform above themselves. Its not rocket science, its why small teams beat big ones in the cup, because the locals get behind their lads in numbers regardless of how good/bad they are and lift them to play above themselves.

my view is just dont praise if its merited as all its doing making honest and well deserved
Praise feel watered down and comes across as worthless and lip service esq.

If someone plays well - tell them
If they have not = don't
If they have been awful = support them back of house and coach them
Simple man management

Disgraceful that a manager should show patience and support his player. Pardew out.

 

It might be decent man management, and I get where he's coming from; new country, new league, best mate who sold him the club wants off after 6 months, struggling team, supporters on his back.
But it's papering over the glaringly bad management in having one right back in the squad. And it's not like it's crept up on them either.

 

He's definitely got quality, but I don't see why he deserves praise.

Have to say I'm the first person to give Pardew stick when he deserves it but can't see what he's done wrong here.

We have a French international right back who has shown he has ability both for his previous club and his national side who is struggling for form. Add to that the very fact that the player that sold the club to him (who is also his best mate) wants to leave and Debuhcy's head is gong to be all over the place.

The very fact he knows his manager backs him and has confidence in his ability to come good can surely only be a good thing.
