I would have closed it and requested a site ban for the admission to trying to cause trouble using disasters (see my comment on the thread)

The release clause stuff ATM makes me laugh. Where is the logic in "the release clause as expired so we could sign him for less"...? A release isn't a conditional amount they have to go for, theclub can agree to sell the player for less regardless, they just can't get more! How does that translate to a player being cheaper once it expires?

Meant generally. There are comments on that Arsenal thread that fit but similar things were said for Man Utd signing Felliani too. Makes no sense IMO
