What a relief and a bloody nice strike from Hatem, now if he can score 1/3 or 1/4 and contribute a hatful of assists and learn to keep possession then I'll be converted.

Great to get the result even if it was scrappy.

**** yes! Hatem looked far better once it became less obvious that he was going to cut in and shoot. As soon as he started pumping some first time crosses he became more unpredictable to fulham and it showed with that goal!

As soon as Remy came on we looked good. Fulham looked very nervous with Remy, HBA, Gouffran, Cisse and Sissoko running at them and attacking them. Suddenly we had intelligent movement and fast accurate passing resulting in dangerous attacks and a quality goal.

We absolutley pumped them for periods in that second half. Deffo need a better focal point up front tho. Cisse is just not able to bring others into the game effectively. It was all a bit hopeful most of the time. Cant question the commitment there though everyone was going nuts out.

    You were saying...

On a serious note I know Fulham were poor but the last twenty mins was the most I've enjoyed watching us play in ages. We really went for it and it was great to see so many attacking players on the pitch at the same time.

Three clean sheets in a row, if Gouffran had scored last week we'd be flying <laugh> I'm now going to think about our lack of signings to balance out my happiness <laugh>

The sheer exchange of Ameobi with anybody improves the team!

Absolutley agree there..HBA started to mix it up..instead of the usual run with it tillyou lose it groove he can get into

The last 20 odd minutes ...really positive (ok Fulham played with everyone behind ball) but there was movement in the front line (pleasent change) and have to say Remy looks ..good ...very good, all his touch's where positive and pulled people into play..

    This, but...

With all of the above pace/intelligence of passing around him is exactly the sort of system Cisse will thrive in. He hasn't scored in eight because in seven of them we created zip.

Too right mate, he looks to do too much, but after a quiet first 10 in the last half he looked invigorated
And i know what you mean bout fulham, sadly every team will do that this year as they know it halts our strikers
However, when they fear hatem can do THAT, we become far less easy to plan against. Time for a celebratory joint!

And SMBs losing at Selhurst. This could turn into a pretty decent day at this rate.

Good gime, good gime. (Brucie talking).

Things looking brighter already, pleased with Remy's performance and once he's settled in he's going to be a big fans favourite.

Up to 11th as things stand at the moment.

Thought we did really well today. Pardew deserves plenty of credit, and it must have been nice to have some effective options on the bench. You can't help but wonder what we'd be if Remy starts instead of Shola and we have another striker of similar quality on the bench? Remy could be the player to unlock our attack this season. Strong, great movement, and he understands the value of passing the ball early. Its a shame we can't go and buy Moses and Ba because all of a sudden we'd be powerful.

Shame our board won't do what is necessary to bring some happiness to the fans on a weekly basis, the bastards :emoticon-0106-cryin
