This. Fed up of the diving, cheating bastards in this league already. I thought the ref was top class in the first half, very fair on all decisions. Second half he was very inconsistent. Why no 2nd yellow for Fernandinho?
Davies Huddlestone Aluko Despite only 3 players being named, there were numerous good performances today. McGregor pulled off some good saves, Chester was a rock at the back, Livermore worked hard in midfield, Brady did a lot of hard work defensively, Koren looked dangerous and Graham was unlucky not to score. Elmo was our worst player, and he had a decent enough game which says a lot about how well we performed as a team.
I agree that the diving is disgusting and it is the referees at fault but he needs to realise that if he dives in when in a dangerous area it can lead to us conceding goals, whether it is a fair challenge or not.
1. Thud 2. Davies 3. Graham for effort Thought Brady was quiet for him and some of his passing a bit wayward, despite a cracking ball into Graham for his offside goal
Thats ridiculous, you are now saying players should accept others cheating and bending the rules. A player should never do that. You are also saying to stop jumping in or diving in, Davies did that five times at least today, and won the ball. You are very harsh on Chester, players have dived past him, even today when he gets the ball. My top three.. Davies Graham Aluko Aluko and Graham looked as if they could really link up well, they couldn't handle Aluko but he should of scored. Davies is a class act and i was really impressed with Graham to, held it up well.
Davies without a doubt. After 3 performances like that for any other club he would be in the England set up. Superb. Graham. Could be others but the way this kid has been written off by "experts" on here. Showed it all today another good signing by our gaffer. Unlucky with the goal. Aluko. Get him signed up quick. will tear lesser teams apart. Livermore. Hardly heard his name mentioned but I bet he worked his bollocks off. All the team really. Well done lads. Said it awhile ago Chezzy's way of tackling, an outstretched leg is an open invitation for the cheating premiership ****s to dive over. The Lesbian being a leading exponent of this.
Davies - brilliant all afternoon. Koren - best performance for a while, showing his quality Graham - looked a lot sharper (and fitter?) and led the line well Excellent performance overall. Huddlestone was quality and economy throughout and Aluko threatened. Brady wanted too many touches at times, and I thought Chester was again found wanting at this level. Livermore gave plenty of energy but lacked precision. Really enjoyed watching and am proud of the lads.
For me: Davies Huddlestone McGregor But all of the lads should be proud of their performances today. Incidentally, for those wondering why Fernandinho got it, if the score isn't level, Sky only nominate a player from the winning team for MOtM. I don't think I've ever seen them given to players from the losing side.
Likewise, but it was weird of Owen to say something along the lines of there being many HCAFC players in contention for it
