The refs have run of excuses. They simply don't want to give us penalties as Lambert takes them. This is why football needs a video review/appeal system during the match. did you watch the last game? we should have had three penalties
That's bollocks, calm down. I think logic would suggest he just didn't see it, rather than that he's biased.
We shouldn't, really. The only incident in the game I thought could have been given as a penalty was Lallana going down in the box, and even that was questionable.
Thought that the Osvaldo shout was the most credible (he was clearly pulled back/down), but none definite. This one was pretty clear to me.
If you don't think the referees are scared ****less to give us penalties because we have Lambert in the side then you are very wrong.
Poch isn't afraid to change it up. Fair play to him. Worried we might lack width however. No change there!
Conspiracy theories aside, that was a clear one, not given though so no point moaning about it all day.
We should have had zero penalties in the last game, and Jay was offside too. I thought there were some poor decisions on what looked like clear fouls outside of the box, but that was all.
Grown into this game. Osvaldo certainly adds an element...doesn't appear to be content playing in front of defenses, does he?
Why would referees be scared of giving penalties due to Lambert? That's an incredibly odd assertion. I'm off to look at some crop circles....
Certainly not accusing the red of being biased, but the fact he was 10ft away and had a totally clear line of sight. There is no way he can claim he didn't see it Why aren't refs forced to take accountability for their mistakes, if a decision is proven to be blatantly wrong then they should have the good grace to say so afterwards.
Rugby union, rugby league, tennis, cricket... all fairer now due to technology. It's also improved the standard of officiating and reduced cheating, particularly in cricket where some home umpires used to be blatantly biased.
