Mat just calm down, I'm one of the biggest advocates for you being allowed on here, but you bring most of this stuff on yourself. You insult quite passionately the Chelsea fans. Then get annoyed when they bait you. You call them chavs which they don't like, much like Liverpool fans don't appreciate being called murderers, (which theyre not) It's pointless just accept the fact that they will all have a different opinion than you an move on and stop being ridiculous when fans of other clubs disagree with you. Me too. I didn't snort milk out my nose when Martinez scored at the death, honest Gotta say Mourinho got the penalty selection bang up wrong tho'. Having Lukaku, a player who knows he's now Chelsea's third choice striker and has never scored a competitive goal for the club taking the fifth penalty? That was always going to end in tears - no idea why he wasn't 2nd or 3rd taker.

Can't really say I'm in a bad mood. For all the complaining about how we did our business, the fact is that we've been crying out for a polished and ready to go new CM for years now, and finally we actually got one. Yes I would have loved us to pick up Herrera or Fabregas or any of the other CMs we were linked with, but I'd have loved us to get Sneijder or De Rossi or Modric or Sahin or Yaya or any of the other CMs we were linked with or bid for over the past five or six years. The only difference this time around is that we actually tried to get more than one player in the window, rather than just focusing on one and giving up when that transfer didn't go through.
Not really, just mildly irked. I think we've got a good squad now so best crack on with it. Maybe add that one cm in January. The first team as I see it has the beating of anyone in the premier league, we're just still behind a few teams in Europe.
I agree with Swarbs. I would've liked another signing, but if we could only get one I'm glad it was Fellaini. PL proven midfielder, tough and physical, exactly what we have been crying out for in midfield. Herrera would have been a nice signing, but unproven in the PL and a big price tag for someone I personally did not know much about... And Ozil is a great player, but 42.5 mil is big money and we need Fellaini more than we need him, even though he is a better player than Fellaini obviously.
I think we'll see him introduce a new tactic to the footballing world this season; the "4-2-4-0 Defense". Back four is fairly straightforward, except the RB has to be a big burly Centreback that is encouraged to play as a third central defender rather than a fullback. Two defensive midfielders (one of whom has to be Lampard) to be the link between defense and the Attacking Midfielders. FOUR attacking midfielders! Woohoo! They must play as narrow as possible to be defensively solid, wing play is overrated. No strikers. The goals will come from midfield anyway...
