His comment was a reply to me though - and i don't think everything is alright. I think Dick Law should earn his bloody wage and i think if we fail to get the right signings in by the close of the window questions will have to be asked. But i also think we have taken steps in the right direction so far and there is still time to get signings complete. Have this conversation in 3 days and either of us could have a very different view point ;)

I partially agree, it's good that deadwood like Chamakh was released, but if you're releasing all your bacup options, you need to have replacements lined up. It was more like a clearance for clearance's sake, rather than a logical and sound trimming of the wage bill.

I think we took our opportunity to offload a lot of players that previously we have struggled to find teams for. It freed up the wages and squad space for additions but we haven't managed to get them in yet. Provided we still get signings made before the window closes we could still have had a good transfer window. I know it's not ideal but it will depend who we get in as to whether it was worth the wait!

Fair enough if you think Flamini is a good piece of business, but please I'd love for you to explain how Sanogo is good business? What exactly has Sanogo done to make the claim that that is good business? You see? When I say you write bullshit, it's true, you do, such as saying Sanogo is good business, when you have ZERO basis to make that claim, Sanogo was not a prodigy before we signed him. Just FYI, because Wenger signs some youngster, doesn't automatically make it good business or that youngster is the next Messi, We have had a lot of youngsters at this club that went nowhere, just look at how many players we just released.

So go on, EXPLAIN how Sanogo is good business, please, provide facts, don't give me your crystal ball bullshit THAT SANOGO WILL TURN INTO HENRY, give actual facts.

Typing in caps and being rude to people doesn't make you cool. How many times do you need to be told to learn how to articulate your points before it will get through your thick stripper loving head. Your a total ****ing moron. Wether there is any substance to what you say or not you just come across as a pissed off kid or drunk hillbilly.

I mentioned Sanogo as i was mentioning what we had done so far. Getting in a young player on a free could go either way and we will have to wait to find out. You can't just bold one sentence out of a long reply and try to pick at that bit as much as possible in the hope of somehow being right about something.

Please if your going to continue replying to me read through my entire post and then answer what im actually saying rather than being a pedantic little dick <ok>

:-D was there on Thursday, yeeehawwwwwwwwwwwww.

So if Sanogo can go either way, why the **** you calling it successful business? Thanks for refuting your own stupid point, Sanago hasn't been good business, we haven't signed some young prodigy, so you have no basis for calling it a success, you didn't initially say Sanago could be good or bad, you're already calling it a success, based on what? Yeah, that's right, based on NOTHING but your usual typical bullshitting PR spin job.

To be honest, i don't see why A87 would want to meet up with you.

    You're clearly from different generations.

As it stands we are one injury away from having to play Walcott, Sanogo and even Bendtner up front. Yes there are two days to go before the transfer window shuts but the season has already started.

I fail to see how anyone can say that our summer has not been a shambles so far.

Question for afcftw. You say you wouldn't want Chiriches or Chadli at Arsenal (proven international players btw) but you are happy that Arsenal have signed Sanogo and its a step in the right direction. How do you get to this conclusion?

    Good question.

A87 doesn't articulate well & should learn to do so better as it just annoys people when he doesn't.

However, I can't blame him for not wanting to meet people from an anonymous message board on the internet who could reasonably be anyone. I would be very, very sceptical of meeting anyone from here. I know who I am, but I've no idea who you lot are.

Clearing the deadwood was good, great even, but by the start of the season that should have been achieved AND new players brought in.

It was too late by the start of August to make signings & mount a title challenge as I stated previously. Now it's just ridiculous. This window, where Arsenal could finally compete with the big boys, they've failed catastrophically while Spurs have been nothing short of incredible. In my humble opinion, heads should roll for this.

Heads should roll unless big signings are made before the window shuts. It would be madness to sack Wenger at the start of the season but if after Monday we have an unsatisfactory squad then at the end of the season, (unless we have won a major trophy like the PL or CL) then he should go as he has proven that he places his principles above the welfare of the team.

This summer is very worrying because all previous ones we did not want to buy. Everyone presumed that all what was needed was to spend the money. Now we have proved that we are simply unable to do it. Even when we show the money - and big money - other clubs are not intereted. Big players are not interested. And when a top top player becomes available - there is alway a club that can be willing to pay more and be more attractive. WE are trying to bite more than we can chew, still thinking that we are THE ARSENAL. But we are not that attractive to top players any more. I have no doubt that if Real Madrid came calling for Suarez, this c**t would do EVERYTHING to leave - he would go and bite Rogers tomorrow ( and not only his arm) just to leave.

To be fair, if Liverpool had accepted our bid we'd all be saying this was a great transfer window. The margins are pretty fine between success and failure.

That said, the way it has unfolded you can't say anything other than it's been a shambles so far.

Three days to put it right <ok>

I think, to be fair, if we'd also signed Messi and Ronaldo it would also have been a good window.

Honestly, that was the most pointless post of today so far Piskie given that they DIDNT accept our offer.
