Yep, every single one of us is to blame for something we never did, wrote, said, typed or don't agree with, right?

Well when the "Shankly Shankly 81" **** starts on Sunday you'll be as much to blame as the ones singing it going by by your warped logic, right?

Having witnessed the Liverpool Munich songs all the time I had a season ticket in the Stretford End I speak from personal experience, not media hype. If my memory serves me correctly Munich was in 1958, with Hillsborough in 1989, so whats the excuse for the 31 years of songs prior to that?

39 Juventus fans were killed at Heisal, and Juventus are STILL awaiting an official apology from Liverpool FC, and that happened 4 years before Hillsborough

I think "always the victim, never to blame" is more than appropriate in this case

As someone who agrees with you that the 'Munich' songs and chants aimed at Utd by Liverpool followers were and have always been disgusting i'd like to ask you if you agree that two wrongs don't make a right, as in Utd followers singing about the death of Shankly and the 96 human beings that died at Hillsborough in 1989?

If you do agree fine but why throw petrol on the fires of hatred with a one sided take on things?, but if you don't your as much scum as those you condemn.

Not getting into a slanging match with you, I made my point. I dont agree with the songs, and neither do United. But they didnt publish it on twitter did they? And isnt page moss that illustrious area of Merseyside where Stirling attacked his girlfriend . My my, such chivalry

Because he's a total chav. He's out to just cause problems nothing more and nothing less. He's too blinkered to even take a look and learn a lesson from Northern Ireland. " sides who hate each other even more bitterly can at least come together to try and seek some form of arrangement for the common good. That includes denouncing the idiots from both sides who seek to jeopardise the common good.

I don't like Manchester United Football Club as an entity. I only know a few of their supporters, some are friends but I don't hate the others apart from the ones who disrespect me and my football club. So I will denounce those supposed Redmen who sink so low as to sing/chant about Munich and I expect the same from the United supporters.

But the insidious faux reaction by people like werareadbonnet make it harder for decent supporters from both sides to ensure that it swiftly becomes a thing of the past.

well, the article was written for 2 major points

    1. The truth always hurts
    2. Its a bit like fishing, throw a line with a hook on it and a worm at the other end into the United pond, and you end up with all the dim witted scousers dangling on the end like a big fat trout.

Points proved in both cases, and many thanks for all the dim wits that responded. Next time, stay in your own pond

To clarify a point, I am NOT posting hatred, just a total contempt at an article POSTED and ALLOWED to be shown on an official Liverpool FC website. That, to quote your ex manager Rafa is a Fakt, not a myth. And if you are trying to twist it into hatred and linking it to sectarian battles in Northern Ireland then you must be pretty sad.

No you are just a typical specimen that attempts to cause problems when all sides are attempting to ensure they don't arise in the first place. But htn you only stating fakhts aren't you! - believe that and you'll believe anything. As for mentioning Northern Ireland you are the sad person if you can't recognise what they can teach you in these kind of circumstances.

    You're just a rabble-rousing phoney

Ah well we all know when the scouser loses an argument, they have to resort to four letter words and clever **** inserts to blank out the naughty words.
Just as point of fact, I was at the Munich anniversary games where we hosted Everton and Manchester City. At both games, you could hear a pin drop during the minutes silence, and not ONE single reference or song about Munich.
