Anyone watching this? Was only able to catch the last 25 mins, after regular play, score 1-1, going into ET. Ramires red carded late for two yellows. Boy, those Bayern players do a lot of rolling around on the ground - they must have been watching Mbia.
I cant believe they had the nerve to complain about the 2nd yellow and that twat Townsend saying it was a fair tackle. It was a straight red on its own, he went over the ball and landed on his ankle. Bayern might roll around but theres been at least 3 scum dives under no contact at all.
I'm just enjoying the game as a footballing spectacle. No animosity either way. Now 2-1 Chelsea, missed goal fixing an extra old Canadian cheddar & Branston sandwich + beer after work. One for the Calamity Green butterfingers academy. Has penalties written all over it. GOAL - Bayern Munich 1-2 Chelsea - Eden Hazard (93 mins) Who saw this coming at full-time? David Luiz fizzes a pass out to Eden Hazard on the left touchline and the Belgian slips past Philipp Lahm, continues unchecked and shoots low from the edge of the area and past a static Manuel Neuer. The keeper was wrong-footed and slumped lazily down to his right as the ball went past him. Lovely play by Hazard, terrible goalkeeping by Neuer.
5 mins of ET to go, still 2-1 Chelsea with 10 "men" - JT just came on as a sub. Petr Cech is playing brilliantly to keep them ahead.
Mmmmmm, Canadian cheddar and Branston! You wouldn't bring some of those to the Brummy game, would ya?
LMAO, Bayern equalise with 6 seconds left in added time. Now for pens. What Id give for another Terry miss.
I just bought two huge blocks of this Armstrong Extra Old (2 years) Canadian cheddar cheese on sale at Costco - only $10 a pop, won't go off in a hurry. I'll eat it well before then - too good, bad habit! I remember as a kid my mum used to send me down to the local grocery store and I had to always ask for "tasty" cheddar and have our sherry bottle re-filled from an oak cask. Can you imagine kids doing that today aged 8 or 9.
Brilliant, Terry bottled taking the kick and left it to an 18 year old, question is, will he swap shirts and join in the Bayern celebration?!
