Jokes aside I can't express my delight enough at this signing. Being someone that follows Ajax, with Eriksen being one of my favourite players, it's just a brilliant signing all around for me. I even had a little debate a week or so ago with Tottenham Jamspurs about the fact I felt Eriksen was twice as good as Holtby and Sig and wouldn't be fussed if we got rid of one or both of them to accomodate for him, seeing as it looks like they're all going to be here, it's fair to say we're going to be able to find out who really is better now mate
wow 2 Lamelas what a couple of signing they would be for you guys, seriously though even if you just signed Eriksen and Soldado some might of had you just for top 4 but with the other 5 and the solid start you have made some have you for a title challenge, do you guys expect a title challenge and maybe an 8th signing?
Delighted with Eriksen and Lamela, we should have addressed the creativity issue with these two. I would still like another striker though, providing we can get shot of Adebarndoor, and injury to Soldado would leave us with just Defoe and Kane (providing Ade is going).
Also, those photos of him were obviously taken during the day. I wonder if he's already registered and therefore available for Sunday's showdown? **** me if it weren't going to be exciting enough going into a NLD with 4 top new signings, we've now got the possibilty of 3 others potentially being in the squad!!!
yeah just noticed the mistake, I've corrected it now. I think after about 10 league games I'd be able to give an idea of a title challenge or not. On paper we look brilliant and if it were paper alone I'd say yes to a title push but we have to see how players will gel first. Hopefully things will go good.

Defoe isn't the worst striker to come off the bench/ be used as a second choice mate. He's better than a lot of 1st choices in this league. Is it 12:30 or 17:00 though? I've seen contrasting reports. Baring in mind our game is Sunday, does anyone know why signings needed to be confirmed at some point today to enable eligibility for a match roughly 48 hours away?

To me that sounds like: Coentrao - £20m A striker - £20m (twitter is whispering Javier Hernandez again) That would make sense and fill the last few holes (provided we can shift some)

£20m for Coentrao seems very steep to me. I know we've splashed crazy amounts of money on players but £20m on a left back who througout most of his Madrid career has played back up to Marcelo seems way too much. £12m would be more of a realistic price in my opinion. Though no doubt Madrid values him at an increased price when it comes to us anyway.
I wont be surprised if we sell Siggurddson and Lennon with these additions, although Lennon is home grown so that probably wont happen.
Lloris could be an option too. Though I've always thought a CB should be a skipper. So like you said, Daws, Verts or Kaboul would be my preferred options.
