No doubt he's already a hero at the KC for that lob that put the nail in Watford's coffin on May 4th. He'd be a useful addition IMO. Maybe not instead of a prem league striker ( oh for a Defoe ), but as a supplement. What are his wages like ?
I wonder if he'd have been as clinical if he and Ledley had signed for us for £5m way back when. Why did he turn us down that time? Middlesbrough have a bid of £1.8m on the table at the moment, which hasn't been rejected or accepted by TWS yet. I'd still like us to go in for Hosiner. Or some Brazilian striker. We're in the PL, we need a South American. Everybody else has one.
Of course he wouldn't have been clinical if he signed for us then, he'd be on a downward spiral now. We seem to be the kiss of death when it comes to forwards. I also think we refused to match Cardiffs valuation for the pair and never got as far as discussing salaries.
As I remember, but I might have been dreaming, Cardiff wanted £10M for McCormack & Ledley together, and if we'd had the money Brown would almost certainly have paid it.
I was going to say, technically Honduras is Central America, while Calaum Jarahldo Martin plays for Antigua and Barbuda, which is also Central. Come on Brucey.
Looks like Forest are readying a bid for Fryatt, but it may come in the form of a loan during the loan window. That seems a bit daft considering they'd be limited to a 93 day loan, whereas if they took him now he'd be theirs for the season (and beyond if they bought him). http://www.sportsdirectnews.com/football-league/31278-forest-set-for-fryatt-move.php
I think they can still have him for the full season in the loan window, only 93 days if its an emergency loan?
We should try a cheeky bid for lukaku regular premiership football again they now have eto'o damn loan system:/
He signed it at 11:50pm? old news lewis... only jesting! i'm glad honestly don't think he's good enough for us
