Assuming they are not injured (WHICH THEY WILL BE) these are the ones we need out there every week
    Green (in Cesar's absence/sale)
    Ned
    Simpson
    Hoilett (if his form continues)
    Joey
    AJ

I love Ale and Austin but there are times when we will need ..... & .... instead

I am assuming the old men will need rotating
I haven't included those I've never seen play

Have I missed anyone out ?

    None.

If your form goes to pot then you should be dropped no matter who you are.

11 players who care about playing for the Club and not themselves, or their bank accounts.

    So there.

Austin, purely to keep Zamora off the field.

IMO Dunne is a must. He has more experience and football knowledge than the rest of the back four put together. If he stays fit (big if) he will be a giant for us.

Normally I would say Faurlin. He impressed me the first game of the season. I believe he had a bit of a mare against Swindon.

If fit and playing well (which I thought he was against Weds), I would definitely make him a must.

Yeah, brilliant idea, start an old player in every game, coming off a season out, with 8 more games than hes used to.

I love Faurlin too but would you start him head of henry (who has got better) in every away game?

Good point SB. Let me add the word 'solely' before 'themselves' and 'bank accounts'.

Faurlin, I think, just wants to play football. Same could be said of Hill, Simpson and Dunne. The kids I assume just want a chance to show what they can do and will give their all. The rest are further down the mercenary scale, though some like SWP andBarton realise that not trying is not an option.

Lowest of the pile for me are Traore and bloody Luke Young, who give the strong impression that kicking a ball gets in the way of their lifestyle.

Who's the most experienced player we have?
Which QPR player has the most international caps?
Which QPR player has the most Prem experience?
Which QPR player has won club player of the year four times while playing in the Prem?

Apologies to the rest of this board for sounding like a child but at times I fell like I am dealing with one. Richard Dunne was bought for one reason and that's his proven leadership qualities. Last year we had NONE. He's not nearly fit yet but when he is he will be our leader on the pitch. He has more international caps and Prem experience than the whole of our squad put together. He's played in world cups and Euro Champs. If he's fit then IMO he has to play. His last 15 months have been dogged with injury but before that he had a great injury record. Give the man a buckin break.

You could argue that's because he's unlucky or because he puts in last second challenges or because he's a split second too slow. All plausible IMO

If I recall correctly, our own Macca banged in a fair few into our own net in his time. Mainly because, like you say, he chucked himself in front of everything.

Clint Hill must be right up there too. Wasn't it three last season? But in saying that, I agree with the reason Nuts gave...
