Apparently there are 2 offers. One around £70mil which is straight up cash, or something that would be a world record fee (over £80m) but split over the length of the contract. Guess it depends if Spurs need the cash now after their spending spree or can wait a bit.

Also, why is Lahm playing CM for Bayern? He's one of the best fullbacks in the World

I bet they can't believe how many players they've signed, no they wanted Bale to stay

 

they've built what looks like a very good team, just wonder if they've done it too quickly though with too many signings. If they gel quickly Spurs could be a real force, but if not then AVB will have some explaining to do.

 

Oh I agree, would be funny if they still failed to finish above Arsenal

 

Spuds have too many Midfield players, I can see many of their new signings getting pissed off by the end of the season. What they really needed was a new CF as they only have one, Defoe is poor and Adebayor is ****.
They have a seriously unbalanced squad, its like Chelsea but without the defence.

Second yellow was definitely justified, could have been a straight red IMO, an potential ankle breaker.

 

I know what others do is irrelevant to us, I only care about Liverpool FC too. But I'd be lying if I didn't say I was a bit gutted about that one!

Tbf I'm quite jealous or their whole transfer window so far, got in quality signings. Only thing I'd be concerned about would be what IBWT says in the fact that if they don't gel straight away, will they then start to struggle?

Out of all their signings, Soldado, Paulinho and Eriksen interest me most, maybe Lamela too but I don't know a great deal about him TBH.

I think they have too many midfielders (ironically just like Chelsea, AVB's former club and he signed a lot of them) and they will have some unhappy players along the way.

They lack defensive options IMO but they are certainly stronger than us. Only diffetence is, we still have a world class player in Suarez but they've lost theirs. They have a few that could potentially get to that level though.
