    The gods can be so cruel. How does that saying go? "It is not the despair. It is the hope that really so hard and cruel in the end".

    Always giving them some hope of a very good season only to smash it by October/November. Disappointment and failure. We can almost feel sorry for these scousers...<whistle>

    Wrong. It was actually smashed before the end of September last season, but we're hardy souls. I'm old enough to have enjoyed the dominance your team has enjoyed. It's harder on the young ones <whistle>

    I notice that Lawro gives us a 1-1 draw on his predictions. And if his predictions had come true so far the scousers would have been top or second and United 14th ...<doh>

    Has anyone ever seen this f***** predict a scousers defeat? I think if his predictions had come true last year, the scousers would have been in champions league (or very close).
