Not so much football themed music... but there are songs heavily associated with football that I do and have listened to.
Don't need to get any more pumped, but I love it at SMS when they play The Skids 'the saints are coming'.
France 98's official song was quite popular.
This. On the other hand something shrivels inside me when any team come on to "We Are The Champions" ('cos they usually aint).
No, it was a song about Le Tissier when he wasn't being picked by Terry Vegetables. I can't remember the name of the guys who did it - I had it on CD (I'm slightly ashamed to say).
I owned a copy of the Unbelievable video, thats got commentary from David Baddiel - think i got confused! I do vaguley remember that song but cant find it on tinternet!
And if you're feeling really keen, you could have dinner to the sweet sound of Alan Ball's tenor.....and other such Southampton classics - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Southampton-FC-Saints-Twenty-Classics/dp/B000026Y9U (this will be utterly awful)
Hee-hee, I like that. Someone ought to do a cover. The name Richard Chorley reads familiar too. I'm sure that name has cropped up in Saints circles before.
My favourite was the Status Quo album that Pompey adopted as their theme song, think it was called 'Down, down deeper and down'?
On a tangent, I loved Channel 4 using Mambo No 5 (?) as their theme for cricket. So unrelated yet worked great with the credits.
