If there's any game where Wenger and the team will get the full support it's against Spurs, even if we're 2-0 down, so I don't think there'll be a toxic atmosphere if things start to go wrong. I remember 2 seasons ago when we were 2-0 down, I was a negativeeee mother****er as you know on the board, but in the game, even at 2-0 down, I didn't get negative at the team and stayed positive. **** Spurs. Now when the final whistle blows, well that's a different story. :-D.
Sorry, don't agree - did you go to Villa game ? There's been negativity in the crowd for years - I remember the bloke next to me moaning away all game when we drew with Birmingham a couple of weeks before the end of the season in 2003/4 (when we were already already champions), Arsenal home fans have a history of being poor and after a series of poor signings in and a series of great players out those fans are looking for any excuse to let their feelings be known, regardless of who we're playing.
Just making a plea to anyone attending the match on Sunday, remember no pies, no programmes and no programmes. i know its a bit difficult not having a during the match but we have been mugged off for far too long now its time to bite back just for 90 minutes, have a drink before and after the game when we will hopefully be celebrating a win! please tell all your friends and family attending the game
I wont be as i am working and I live in Bradford so I dont get down too often for the home games. The last match i was at was the Villa game. Murray fella i meant pies, programmes and pints and i have not had any 2day although i will be having a couple of JD and cokes later when i am watching the Chelski game
How is not buying a pie or pint meant to affect AFC as the catering is contracted out to a firm called Delamere North.Arsenal only make a commission on the sales.I hardly buy anything in the ground anyway so protests such as this don't affect me.
I dont know much about the catering contracts at the Emirates but whatever we can do without affecting the players is ok and getting the board to take notice is ok by me
You've already said you wont be at the game so what protest will you be making to make the board take notice ?
Personally I would have nothing to do with such a protest. If people in the ground are hungry they will buy food,if they are thirsty they will buy a drink.I doubt very much they will think they should make a protest
Concession franchises are usually sold out at a flat rate. Arsenal will probably not be even affected by the boycott, or very indirectly. The program sales probably will affect the club directly, but it will more seriously hurt the person selling them, who most likely needs the money more than the club. I really don't think money is an issue at this point. If you guys really think we aren't signing players because we don't want to spend money, you are completely bonkers.
