Most Northern Europeans are descended directly from the Vikings. It must be true because I saw it on an American documentary last night.
Normans Etymology The English name "Normans" comes from the French words Normans/Normanz, plural of Normant,[5] modern French normand, which is itself borrowed from Old Low Franconian Nortmann "Northman"[6] or directly from Old Norse Norðmaðr, Latinized in Nortmannus (recorded in Medieval Latin, 9th century) to mean "Norseman" or "Viking".[7]
Are you really that ******ed? I just said Norseman means "Northman" and you post a, I presume, Wiki page to prove what I said. Are you contradicting that Norseman means Northman or are you contradicting that the "Normans" came from Northern France? Either way you'd be wrong
Use of Viking/Norseman/Norman doesn't make the people the same just the term used to describe them. The mutability of language seems to confuse you. Do you understand that not all Norsemen are Vikings? They are "men of the North" *****.
Just wrong. Norsemen could be from many places; including France Vikings were Scandinavian. You keep hitting up Google and Wiki and I'll continue to use actual education. ****tard
He is that thick. He comes from the watelands in Invergordon where all grow up thinking they are plastic paddies, hence they support ra Cellic.
