    I see he has defected back to the Beeb, be it to the radio rather than TV. At least we won't see his ugly face again for a while.

    You've got this wrong. He will still present football for ITV, they've just removed the exclusivity clause from his contract.

    It says he's returning to the BBC 5Live. Doesn't say he's quit ITV.

    He 100% did. I personally knew the head of BBC news at the time who I trust implicitly and he told me about it before anything ever got in the press.

    He also said Bleakley is astonishingly beautiful close up, much better than on telly. She must be bloody good then cos she looks alright on my box....
