Yes sell the dead wood but keep the others.we must add quality to our squad to fight for there place.we will not move on untill we have players fighting to get a start in our line up.that must be our aim.improve and build
Gardner Cuellar Larsson Vaughan 4 senior players who we can replace with young blood of an equal standard at a fraction of the wages. But it takes time to move players on when they're overpaid so we need to be patient.
No more selling after Sess this window. Unless we can get rid of Bardsley We've got rid of enough already All our business should be is 1/2 cm's, a lb and a forward to replace Sess
What's larsson got left? maybe a year i think? would you of snapped lazio's hand off when they were intersted Sunderland Transfer News: Sebastian Larsson On Lazio’s Radar July 17, 2013 Liam Carson Sport no comments 155 views Talksport reports that Lazio are interested in signing Sunderland midfielder Sebastian Larsson. Larsson, who arrived at the Stadium of Light in 2011, has only a year left to run on his contract at Sunderland and it is unsure whether the club will offer the Swede an extension. Sunderland boss Paolo Di Canio is said to be weighing up the idea of selling the 28-year-old as the Italian continues his major summer overhaul. The midfielder was not as prolific last season as his first on Wearside as he only managed one goal in 38 league games compared to seven in 32 in the 2011/12 season. The Coppa Italia champions, Lazio, are looking for versatile players for their upcoming season as they continue building and Larsson could fit the bill. Larsson was used mainly as a centre-midfielder last season and has been used as a winger and a right-back in his time in the north east. It was widely reported that the Sweden international would prefer to play out wide but was happy to play where ever. The former Birmingham City midfielder has played 70 Premier League games for the Black Cats, scoring 8 goals.
I think gardner and larsson both do a job,for me we already have replaced Cuellar with the two new lads and brown when fit/if fit ever.... vaughan can go tomorrow for me.. And can i fathom why the feck we keep JI the bloke is hopeless, touch of a rapist, strenth of mr muscle and a shot like me 11 year old daughter. if anyone in Germany or where ever will pay more than a pack of button for this hopeless heep of dog excrement i will drive him there!!
not my normal post (negative in fact) but after watching him on wednesday i was going to slap me boots on to come out of five a side retirement to take his place!! When you think we sold campbell and kept him what were bruce/oneill thinking - we were right to get rid when we did or we would have a lawrie mac type apocolypse happening at Sunderland now.
An indifferent post i guess, you slag Ji (who i guess is kinda ****) yet say Larsson and Gardner do a job....A strange anology i guess. They do a job because of non replacements..... Hopefully Catts will take one of their places.
Catts is so slow that i would beat him in a race pulling a horse cart!! however he does disrupt play better than the other two but he gives sunderland nothing going forward
It's all different views marra. Now if everyone was fit in the squad, Catts would be in my team, i'm guessing not yours, but that fine.
I wouldnt sell anyone, we need a squad and these squad players can still come on a change a game score goals. There will be injuries to our first team players this season, we always get alot of injuries so we need to hang on to these players for that reason.
I would have catts in my team if you have an attacking midfielder who can pass a ball otherwise we are two negative.
