    In all honesty we'll go down, but at last he's getting decent players in who will give it a good go next year to bounce back, like you lot did in 2001.l wouldn't be too pessimistic about your survival, worst teams in the league.

    A very realistic assessment IMO and the parallel with us in 2001 is valid. You never know, they might just surprise you.

    Everyone seems 100% certain that Palace would go down, but it was the same with Swansea 2 years ago. There are usually a couple of "established" Premier League clubs who hit a run of bad form and get sucked into a relegation battle, and I'll be surprised if Palace aren't one of about 5 teams in the mix for relegation in March or April.
